Johan’s journey actually started back in 2011, when Pieter was diagnosed with cancer. He vowed to do ‘something absurd’ if his son was still alive 5 years later. What started out as something ‘absurd’, quickly grew into something concrete as it gathered heaps of support from his surroundings.
